    Mr. Evan Abrams,
Thanks for being such a great mentor . If could please tell me what adobe effects do I use to
create the effect as in the beginning of the movie ROCKY 3 , you know how the text ROCKY III slides from right to left passing over the image of the heavyweight belt with the Rocky theme music playing like all the intros do in big bold yellow 3d letters , but I wanted to have my name KENNY WAYNE scroll across the screen instead of Rockys name, ha, I know its kinda crazy and maybe silly, but I would get a huge kick out of it, be so thrilled and it would make my day if you could shoot me a few quick pointers and I can figure the rest out. But when you get the chance.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH !!

Hey Kenny. I don’t know Rocky III very well, but I looked at the intro and there isn’t a lot going on there right? We have footage behind text, so we’ll need one layer of footage of a belt. Then We have a text layer. Or it might be a picture of some text. Or let’s say we use a text layer. That text layer is changing position from right to left, so that’s 2 keyframes needed on the position. As for making the text look how you want: I’m seeing a shadow, so I suppose you might throw a drop shadow effect on it, and the edges are a little rough, so throw a roughen edges effect on it? Do you think that might do it? And am I seeing the right Rocky movie?

I am having the same issue. Gumroad says that the item is not for sale. Paypal requires an amount greater than $0.

How about now? Also, folks are very welcome to put in more than zero and support the channel.

GumRoad worked this time around. Thanks. Would have no issue putting a value more than zero, but out of the two tutorials of yours that I have used (to learn AE) this was the only one that had a download problem of this nature.

Also, I support your channel by being a subscriber and watching/clicking through the monetized ads on your videos. I am already a videoblocks subscriber so that wouldn’t help you much.

One other note, when I reply to a comment on this page, the text is white over the gray color here making it hard to see what’s being typed.

Thanks for all you do! Much appreciated!
