Isometric Projections in Adobe After Effects (SSR Method)
Isometric Projections! Make some in After Effects. You COULD extrude some things in 3d and get close to this look. But we’re doing it for real! Real Isometric Projections! The least real kind of 3d drawing! We use the tried and true SSR method. That’s scale, skew and rotate!

Angled Logo Reveal – Adobe After Effects tutorial
Animate on an angled logo with shape layers in after effects. We use shape layers to build up the typography of a logo very similar (totally ripped off of) to the very stylish and hip AJ+ logo. Give it a try with your own initials!

Random Triangle Transition – Adobe After Effects tutorial
Reveal any layer with a random cascade of triangles! Triangles may be the strongest shape, but now they’re the most random. Transition anything in After Effects with his technique.
Sadly this is only meant to be used with right angle triangles. If people want it, we’ll get into using equilateral triangles… I promise 🙂

Jiggle like Jello – Adobe After Effects tutorial
Create realistic jiggling in shape layers using the puppet pin tool. No outside 3rd party plugins required. Jiggle jello. Jiggle your belly. Jiggle all the way… This was uploaded around Christmas and I had just seen a jello salad so there’s some culinary commentary in here too.
Here are those expressions we use:
on the puppet pins…
L=thisComp.layer(“A3”);
L.toWorld(L.anchorPoint)
on the null objects…
